US-based data collection firm SHC Universal has promoted co-founder Jerry Arbittier to the role of Chief Executive Officer. He replaces fellow co-founder Michael Lefkowitz, who has held the CEO role for the past two years and is not working at SHC Universal at this time.
Previously known as SurveyHealthCare, the firm collects data for the healthcare, public opinion and market research sectors, and offers access to panels of patients, consumers and more than two million healthcare professionals, for qual and quant research.
Arbittier (pictured) has more than 30 years' industry experience and was previously the company's President. Prior to this, he spent nine years as President of WPP's healthcare data and physician panel company All Global, which he also co-founded. In his new role, Arbittier replaces Lefkowitz, who earlier in his career, was a Researcher at Lieberman Research and a Consultant at Accenture. A spokesperson for SHC Universal told DRNO that they could not comment about whether he has now left the company.
Chong Moua, Chairman and General Partner at Boathouse Capital, the majority owner of SHC Universal, comments: 'Jerry is a remarkable leader who has been responsible for a great portion of the company's success over the years. The combination of Jerry's track record of strong leadership and his deep industry expertise makes him uniquely qualified to lead SHC Universal successfully into the future'.
