Dublin based agency RED C Research & Marketing has appointed Millward Brown veteran Conor Murphy as a Director.RED C was founded in 2003 and offers quant and qual projects to a wide range of clients, while also running monthly polls for the Sunday Business Post. In 2011, the firm merged with OI Research to create 'one of Ireland's biggest independent research groups'; and last month, it opened a UK office in London, as a joint venture between the agency and former Future Thinking execs Richard Barton and Charlotte Butterworth.
Murphy (pictured) joins in Ireland after sixteen years at Millward Brown, where he most recently served as Senior Client Director. He has more than 25 years' experience of helping local and global clients across multiple industries including finance, utilities, alcohol, FMCG and telecoms. The first three years of his career were spent in analytical marketing with Unilever Best Foods, followed by eight years rising to senior management at Fitzpatrick Marketing Research.
In a statement, RED C said the appointment follows a period of 'continuous business growth'.
