Netherlands-based data collection firm GDCC has appointed Simon Glanville as Managing Director of its newly established 60-seat CATI facility in London.Founded in 1998, GDCC (Global Data Collection Company) provides international telephone and fieldwork services to market research agencies around the world. The firm currently has call centres in Rotterdam and Istanbul, and the London launch brings its CATI capacity to 260 seats.
Glanville joins from healthcare & B2B specialist RONIN Corporation, where he has served as UK Managing Director for the past two years. He was General Manager of RONIN from 1999 to 2005, and then helped launch a UK office for outsourcing company Ugam, before joining London-based full service agency RSM as Director of Business Development. Prior to 1999 he worked at Harris Research, TNS and GfK.
In his new role, Glanville will be fully responsible for GDCC UK, working as part of the global management team. CEO Kees-Jan Mars comments: 'We are delighted that Simon has joined our team to build out GDCC UK. He is an ideal fit to help implement our development strategy'.
