London-based insight and innovation consultancy Brand Genetics has appointed former Reckitt Benckiser consumer insight leader Marc Edwards as Director of Strategy.Brand Genetics offers a range of services including trends analysis, concept evaluation, influencer research and new brand and product creation. In addition, the company runs Pioneer Panels to uncover insight from 'extreme' consumers, and a community called Crowdsight to glean inspiration from entrepreneurs, while also offering access to a global network of creative millennials. It also provides clients with innovation training.
Edwards (pictured) joins after nearly six years at consumer goods company Reckitt Benckiser, where he latterly served as Head of Global Consumer Insight across brands such as Finish, AirWick and Mortein. Prior to this, he worked for Sara Lee Household & Body Care Research as Consumer Innovation Manager; and he was a Product Researcher at Procter & Gamble. In his new role, Edwards is tasked with helping Brand Genetics develop its offer for clients.
