IT industry specialist Forrester Research has reported a 5% increase in second quarter Research division revenues to $55.0m from $52.6m in the prior year period, while revenue rose by 9% from $30.2m to $32.8m in its Advisory Services and Events arm.During the period, total group revenue was $87.8m ($82.8m in Q2 2015). On a GAAP basis, net income was $7.5m, up from $5.8m a year earlier. On a pro forma basis, net income was $8.3m, up from $7.3m.
For the third quarter of 2016, Forrester is predicting total revenues of approximately $78.5m to $81.5m. CEO George Colony (pictured) commented: 'I am pleased to report that Forrester exceeded revenue, operating income, and EPS guidance for the second quarter. Our strategy is resonating with clients and prospects who must transform to win in the emerging customer-led market'.
