Rapid Growth Under New Owner for Maru/edr

UK-based voice of the Customer specialist Maru/edr has added thirteen new members of staff in its research and technical teams, including Senior Research Manager Jessica Abbott, Software Development Manager Robert Pointer and a number of graduates.

Liz Boffey Abbott was previously International Insight Specialist at Domino's, and will now work with travel and hospitality clients. She will be joined on the research team by four new members of the company's graduate scheme, Priya Tanna, Themis Sakkas, Rhea Shears and April Lampard - each taking the title of Graduate Research Executive.

Pointer brings extensive development experience and knowledge of agile working techniques, and is joined on the technical team by Junior Developers Russel Kingfield and Mara Blaga.

A further five new arrivals strengthen the company's Sales and Marketing team. They are:

Lianne Street - Business Development Manager, Retail
Sinclair Lawler - Business Development Manager, Tech, Telecoms and Media
Luke Gould - Business Development Manager, B2B and Consumer Services
Gary Howes - Business Development Manager, Travel and Hospitality, and
Toby McShane - Sales & Marketing Assistant.

The company was formed when eDigitalResearch was acquired by MARU Group in February this year. MARU itself was founded recently, with the aim of building a technology enabled professional services group, and is backed by private equity finance company Primary Capital Partners.

Maru/edr Chief Delivery Officer Liz Boffey (pictured) says research and technology 'play an equally important part in the business', and comments: 'Now is such a fantastic time to join the team - as part of MARU Group, we're expanding what we do, building world-first research tools - including our Emotional Positioning System, offering more clients an even broader set of solutions'.

The company says it still has a number of vacancies throughout the business, including web designers, research analysts and software development managers.
