New Sales Leader for Research Now

Digital data collection firm Research Now has appointed Tom Johnson - a veteran of IDC, SSI and gartner - as EVP of North American Sales, effective immediately.

Johnson's two decades of B2B sales experience include time as Group VP, Strategic Account Channel and Global Sales Operations for Gartner, Inc., and as SVP of Americas Sales and Client Services for SSI, where he was responsible for double-digit revenue growth and sales force expansion. Most recently, he served as SVP of Global Sales for Interactive Data Corporation (IDC), through its acquisition by InterContinental Exchange (ICE). He holds a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Colorado in Boulder.

In his new role, he is responsible for driving sales across the Americas, the group's largest market. CEO Gary S. Laben says Johnson's 'track record of leading and re-invigorating sales organizations at IDC, SSI, and Gartner in combination with his strong leadership skills, industry acumen, and ability to deliver growth through relationship management and new business development will spearhead market expansion opportunities for Research Now'.
