UK-based user experience (UX) design agency Foolproof has agreed to be acquired by IT services and business process outsourcer Zensar Technologies for an undisclosed sum.Foolproof has offices in London, Norwich and Singapore, and uses consumer insight and data to assist in the creative design of digital products and services. The firm specialises in user experience strategy, user research, user-centred design, conversion rate optimisation, and mobile experience design, across digital channels. Last year, it acquired personalisation and targeting technology specialist Knit.
The firm will now become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zensar Technologies (UK) Ltd, and part of Zensar's Global Digital Application Services organisation. Foolproof will operate under its own brand name, and will continue to be run by founders Tom Wood and Peter Ballard. Ballard comments: 'Our rigorous approach to design using real customer insight to inform the design at every stage of the process, helps us deliver digital experiences which create value for both our clients and their customers. Joining with Zensar will give us access to greater resources, and extends our global reach, to help us in our mission to positively impact the lives of millions of people around the world through great design'.
