Paris-based predictive software platform Sidetrade has acquired UK predictive analytics platform BrightTarget, for an undisclosed sum.BrightTarget's machine learning software analyses historic customer transactions and behavior; and incorporates additional insight gathered from press articles, social media and corporate web sites. Users can define the customer lifetime value (CLV) anticipated from the future relationship between a business and a customer. In addition, the solution promises to identify those clients most likely to be lost by a company, and track the best opportunities for up-selling / cross-selling to existing clients.
