UK agency McCallum Layton has changed its name to Allto Consulting, to reflect the expansion of its offer beyond research into the delivery of integrated solutions.
The firm was established in the 1980s, and in the last few years has added an online portal, The Hub; a Digital Solutions Division with an offer including insight communities, online focus groups and social media evaluation; and last autumn a statistical analysis solution called Opti/Net.
As of this week its name has changed from McCallum Layton Research and Marketing to Allto Consulting, reflecting its evolution into 'more than a pure research agency', with an emphasis on 'developing and delivering integrated solutions to clients' business issues'. The management team has also grown considerably from founding partners Kathy Layton and Duncan McCallum, recently adding fifth and sixth members Alex Culshaw and Jim Parkinson to the Board.
McCallum comments: 'Our business has changed substantially since Kathy Layton and I set it up over thirty years ago, not only in terms of the nature of the work we do but also with regard to the people who are involved in determining the direction and future of the Agency - we felt it was about time our name reflected this. We are excited to begin the New Year with a new identity, and look forward to a further three decades of success'.
