True Influence Promotes Weiss to COO

In the US, data technology company True Influence has promoted Craig Weiss to the role of Chief Operating Officer.

The firm operates InsightBASE, a solution which monitors the online activity of individuals visiting business web sites from their corporate domains, to enable marketers to reach them at specific companies. Users can target display advertising based on individuals' interests; and send timely, targeted, product-specific e-mail campaigns to prospects at the beginning of their buying journey.

Weiss (pictured) joined the company in 2011, and most recently served as SVP Operations, with budget responsibility for a 50-person multi-national operation, and for delivery of products and services to the market. He previously spent nearly fifteen years at direct marketing and targeting giant Harte Hanks, latterly as Director of CiTDB Demand Generation Solutions.

In his new role, Weiss will help grow the firm's footprint into new markets in Europe and Latin America, and will lead expansion of the InsightBASE Customer Success team. He reports to CEO Brian Giese, who comments: 'We look forward to leveraging Craig's impressive expertise in transforming data into marketing intelligence to take True Influence to the next stage of our rapid growth. We've seen increased sales for each quarter for more than the past five years while Craig has been with us because of tactics such as behavioral targeting, e-mail and online marketing, account-based marketing for technology market leaders'.
