News and information provider Thomson Reuters has opened an innovation lab in Singapore which will collaborate with government, tech start-ups and universities to create products and solutions for clients across the Asia Pacific region.The new Singapore Lab joins a network which includes locations in Boston, Cape Town, London, Waterloo (Canada) and Zürich - all are focused on experimenting with advanced data analytics and machine intelligence to solve challenges for clients. Specifically the Labs provide data science capabilities, delivering data exploration tools, dashboards, visualizations and proof-of-concept applications.
Commenting on the launch, Sanjeev Chatrath (pictured), MD, Financial & Risk, Asia Pacific, said: 'With our established footprint across Asia and a strong presence in Singapore, the new Lab will serve as a hub for growing our innovation efforts and fostering co-innovation with our customers and partners within the region.
