Data-driven CRM and performance marketing agency Merkle has promoted long-term exec Zhengda 'Z' Shen to the role of President of Asia Pacific. Under his leadership, the firm plans to grow its team to 1,000 employees in APAC by the end of the year.
Shen joined the firm in 2000 as VP Data Solutions, and has since held roles including COO, Marketing Technology and President, China. Most recently, he was EVP, Global Marketing Solutions Leader, leading the team of 1,600 employees, providing analytics and technology solutions. He will now focus on developing the company's people-based marketing capabilities, acquisitions in the region, and strategic channel partnerships in technology and media. He also takes responsibility for acculturation and integration of new APAC acquisitions into Merkle.
