After ten years as an independent entity, BDRC South Africa has been renamed BDRC Africa and moved back into closer alignment with the group. The South African company was originally set up as a branch office of BDRC UK in 1999, though the two have operated independently since 2005. A new licensing agreement enables BDRC Group to regain a foothold in Africa, through the local office's existing network of partners and associates across the continent. The group says the move will provide BDRC Africa's clients a wider team of industry sector specialists, able to draw on learnings from research conducted in major industry sectors and other world economies. It will also provide multi-country online, mobile, CATI, and CAPI research capabilities, coordinated through the Cape Town office.
BDRC Africa founder and MD Linda Findlay (pictured), comments: 'The new agreement gives our clients a range of new insight products, tailored specifically to African markets, as well as access to thought leadership in research globally through the group's network of offices in Cape Town, London, Washington DC, Sydney, Singapore, Beijing and Jakarta'.
