London-based behaviour, brand and communications research agency Monkey See has appointed former MarketCast and Ipsos MORI exec Steve Smith as Research Associate.Monkey See, which was set up in 2011 by former Hall & Partners directors Helen Nuki, Alexa Arrowsmith and Helen Law, offers brand and communications research focused on understanding consumer activity and motivation, in particular through behavioural economics.
Smith (pictured) most recently served as Research Director of entertainment specialist MarketCast, and before this was Qualitative Research Director at Ipsos MORI. Earlier, he held senior roles at Starcom MediaVest Group, Coda Research Consultancy, and the BBC. Monkey See said in a statement: 'Steve Smith brings a great deal of expertise, especially in the areas of media and technology, as well as an academic interest in taking learnings from sociology and anthropology into behavioural economics'.
