In the US, digital market intelligence company SimilarWeb has appointed author and consumer insights specialist Dr Stephen Kraus as Chief of Insights.
San Francisco-based SimilarWeb offers access to an international online panel, providing insights about any web site or app. Kraus (pictured) joins with more than two decades' experience, with a focus on identifying emerging trends in digital media use, and understanding the effects of wealth concentration on business and society. He most recently worked at Ipsos as SVP and Chief Insights Officer, directing The Ipsos Affluent Survey USA. Before this, he was VP at the Harrison Group (now part of YouGov), Director of Market Research Services at AbsolutData; President at NextLevel Sciences; and a Partner at Yankelovich Partners. He is also the author of three books and a previous Executive Fellow at the School of Management at the University of San Francisco.
