On-demand panel and sample company Innovate has appointed former dataSpring exec Jeff Gerken as Assistant Vice President, responsible for sourcing new business opportunities and managing a range of existing client relationships.
Launched in 2014 by uSamp co-founders Matt Dusig and Gregg Lavin and their former colleague George Llorens, Innovate enables clients to pinpoint global panelists on demand and delivers sample via connected APIs. The firm now has 50 employees globally, working from offices in Los Angeles, New York and New Delhi. Current plans include the forthcoming launch of a universal sample platform.
Gerken (pictured) joins with nearly twenty years' industry experience. Most recently, he worked for dataSpring (formerly Research Panel Asia) as VP, Business Development, mainly working with clients in North America and Europe. Prior to this, he held senior roles at Federated Sample, Symphony Advanced Media, SSI and InsightExpress.
Commenting on the appointment, Llorens said: 'We are confident Jeff will provide our clients with exceptional service and the consultative prowess that he is known for. He is the go-to expert for APAC markets in our space, which is a focus for Innovate as we are seeing increased demand in these countries. We've always held the belief that growing your business involves surrounding yourself with truly exceptional talent; Jeff is the type of professional who brings value to the challenges and opportunities our clients face every day'.
