In the UK, field and viewing studio business Viewpoint has appointed former Ipsos MORI exec Fiona Nolan as Senior Manager in charge of its Social Research team.Owned by BDRC Group, Viewpoint recruits for qual methods such as traditional face-to-face and online groups, workshops, depths, usability interviews and accompanied shops. The firm's London-based facility, which includes an in-house telephone unit, also offers quant methodologies such as hall tests, exit interviews, store study days, and mystery shopping. Its studios are based in Sunbury-on-Thames in Surrey, and the firm also offers access to a sister viewing facility Holborn Focus in central London.
Nolan joins after more than fifteen years at Ipsos MORI, where she most recently served as Head of Qualitative and KIT Fieldwork (key influencer tracking). In her new role, she will lead a team covering areas such as children/youth, central and local government, charities, environment, hard-to-reach, and the socially excluded.
