Former RED C Joint Managing Director David Cullen has left the Dublin-based firm after five years, to set up a strategic consulting firm for insight and analytics called Bayes & Becker.Cullen (pictured) began his career at SPSS Ireland, before joining Lansdowne Market Research, and then setting up his own full-service agency OI Research. The latter was merged with RED C in 2011, and Cullen became Joint MD of the combined group.
He has now set up Bayes & Becker to offer advisory, analytical, outsourcing and consultancy services across a variety of sectors. Cullen says the business will focus on the application of intelligence and insight to inform 'strategic clarity', and on building better business for its clients. He adds: 'To underpin this we can also develop our client's insight capability to ensure that it is as effective and efficient as it can be. We get a buzz out of finding creative ways to help crack our client's challenges across a host of areas from innovation and comms to market entry and segmentation. As a small but experienced consultancy we have the agility, flexibility and client commitment to do things differently'.
