In the US, technology specialist Forrester has reported a 1% fall in Research revenues for the three months ended June 30th, to $54.6m. However, a strong performance by the Advisory Services and Events division meant group revenue rose 2.2% to $87.8m.Advisory Services and Events revenue was up 7% to $35.2m. Group GAAP net income was $6.1m, down from $7.5m a year earlier; and on a pro forma basis it was $7.6m, down from $8.3m.
Chairman and CEO George Colony (pictured) commented: 'Forrester exceeded revenue, pro forma operating margin, and EPS guidance for the second quarter of 2017. The rollout of our new selling model is progressing on schedule, now under the direction of our new chief sales officer, Kelley Hippler. Our strategy has not changed - the challenges posed by the age of the customer remain front and center for our clients'.
