Los Angeles-based entertainment research firm Screen Engine/ASI (SE/ASI) has hired industry veteran Holly Leff-Pressman for its newly created role of Chief Revenue Officer.
Based in Century City, CA, SE/ASI offers a portfolio of custom and syndicated market research products and services to movie studios and filmmakers. These include movie test screenings, creative advertising testing, in-theater exit polling, and pre-release movie tracking, but the firm is best known for its ASI Theater testing facility in North Hollywood, where it uses dials, questionnaires and focus groups to understand how viewers engage with linear and digital content.
Leff-Pressman (pictured) joins after thirteen years at Nielsen, most recently as EVP, spearheading the growth of custom research group Nielsen Content. Before this, she was SVP of Worldwide PPV/VOD at NBC/Universal, overseeing the distribution and marketing of the product to on-demand outlets throughout the world. Earlier, she led the development and licensing of original and event programming for the PPV/VOD Network, In Demand, and she was a legal associate at the entertainment law firm Cooper, Epstein and Hurewitz.
In her new role, Leff-Pressman will report directly to founder and CEO Kevin Goetz, who comments: 'I have followed Holly's career for many years and have gotten to know her well, which is why I am thrilled she is joining Screen Engine/ASI's executive team. Her experience partnering with media and entertainment companies to build and activate audiences for content consumption will fuel our growth among the exploding ranks of new distribution platforms'.
