Shopper intelligence firm Catalina has appointed Kraft Foods veteran Tom Corley as Global Chief Retail Officer and President of US Retail.
From its headquarters in St. Petersburg, FL, and operations in the US, Europe and Japan, Catalina offers access to a shopper history database, which is used by CPG brands to target consumers with behavior-based messages at appropriate times, via mobile, online and in-store channels. The company's partnerships with retailers cover more than 53,000 stores globally, reaching over 528 million shoppers, and its advanced shopper analytics offer is driven by a team of 150 data scientists.
Corley (pictured) joins after nearly three decades in senior leadership positions at Kraft Foods and General Foods, including EVP, President of Sales and Foodservice. Earlier, he led the US Field Sales Organization and Walmart/Kraft Sales Organizations for Kraft Foods North America. More recently, he was COO of Acosta, a full-service provider of sales, marketing and retail solutions to CPG companies and retailers. In his new role, Corley will lead Catalina's US retail business, and provide additional leadership to the firm's retail market teams in Europe and Japan.
CEO Andy Heyman comments: 'Catalina is focused on expanding our capabilities and value proposition to help retailers efficiently grow and meet the opportunities of a fast-changing marketplace. Tom brings a fresh perspective to those efforts and a deep understanding of how to drive win-win relationships between CPG manufacturers and retailers given his extensive experience working with both parts of our network'.
