Local audience data provider Eyeota has appointed Michael Tuohy as Director, Data Supply, based in the US and overseeing the Data Partner and Publisher Acquisition teams.Singapore-based Eyeota offers access to 'three billion unique profiles' in Europe, APAC and the Americas, based on third party audience data. The firm has partnerships with YouGov, GfK, Kantar Media, Oracle and Ipsos, among others. Last year, it expanded to the US with the opening of an office in New York's Union Square.
Tuohy (pictured) joins with a 25-year background driving sales and business development for media companies. Most recently, he was Senior Director of Publisher Development at Magnet Media, prior to which he held senior leadership positions at Acxiom, Ntent, Infogroup and 24/7 Media.
In his new role, Tuohy will drive the growth of the supply side business through new product offerings and strategic partnerships. He will report to Elizabeth Christensen, MD, Americas, who comments: 'As we continue to expand our presence across the region, hiring the people with the right experience and skillsets is crucial. Michael has a lengthy background in leading sales and account development initiatives throughout emerging markets. His experience building long-term relationships with publishers will be an asset to Eyeota as we expand across the US'.
