In New York, Kantar TNS has hired former Nielsen exec Rob Wengel to lead its Client Development team and Innovation practice in North America.
Wengel (pictured) joins from executive search specialist Korn Ferry, where he served as Senior Client Partner, Solutions Architect & Innovation. Before this, he spent nearly a decade in senior roles at Nielsen - initially as VP, Client Services, and latterly as SVP of the North America Innovation practice, leading the firm's BASES and Affinnova brands. After this, he joined Nielsen's growth specialist, The Cambridge Group as Principal and Innovation Practice Leader. Earlier, he spent a year as President Client Services at TNS North America; and he worked for IRI, as well as client-side for luxury bath brand Waterworks, Reckitt Benckiser and P&G.
