The company is based in Chagrin Falls, Ohio and offers qual and quant, regional and national research using methodologies such as on-location interviewing, mall intercepts, central location tests and focus groups. Founded in 1998 by Mark Kikel, who previously served as VP of Operations at Pat Henry Market Research and as a Supervisor at National Market Measures (now MarketVision Research), it now employs a team of more than 500 including researchers, data collectors, analysts and programmers.
Sheldrake (pictured) will join from Japanese research and online panel provider GMO Research/JMI, where he served as European Sales Director and helped the company open its first UK office. He was previously Sales Director of data collection agency Advaith, and before that Sales Director Europe and Americas at Pulse Group. During his career, he has also worked, mostly in international sales, for companies such as JD Power, Lorien and IDC and has experience in healthcare, IT and automotive.
In his new role, Sheldrake will be based in the UK, but will cover all of Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Commenting on the appointment, Kikel said: 'Jonathan has a great blend of research and sales experience and we look forward to him further increasing our sales in Europe and beyond'.
