USIM Hires EVP Insights and Analytics

January 10 2018

In New York, full-service media agency USIM has appointed former Publicis exec Rob Jayson as Executive Vice President, Insights and Analytics.

Rob JaysonJayson (pictured) joins from Publicis Media, where as Global Lead, Branded Applications, he developed and rolled out proprietary audience, insights and campaign optimization tools for other agencies in the group. Prior to this, he was Practice Lead - Analytics Activation for strategic planning firm Ninah Consulting; and Chief Data Officer - Worldwide for Publicis-owned ZenithOptimedia (which acquired Ninah in 2002).

At ZenithOptimedia, Jayson developed the firm's data infrastructure, analytics solutions and new data visualization programs; evolved its Global Analytics Center (GLANCE) from digital search reporting into a data-driven marketing tool; and led agency partnerships with data and platform vendors. The position involved leadership of project teams across Europe and Asia, as well as North America, and management of both the 35-person GLANCE team and the 45-person North American Research team. Earlier, he spent more than seventeen years at Initiative Media.

At USIM, Jayson will be responsible for 'bridging the gap' between consumer trends and the industry, to determine appropriate advertising platforms across all channels. Eran Goren, President - Digital Media / EVP, Communications, comments: 'We're thrilled to add someone with Rob's level of acumen and expertise to our team. He truly shares in USIM's mission to deliver seamless messaging to people, not screens or devices'.
