Chen Replaces Estrin in Maru/Matchbox Financial MD Role

MARU Group's tech and communities business Maru/Matchbox has promoted Ted Chen to the role of Managing Director, Financial Services. He replaces Demitry Estrin, who was moved up to the position of Chief Operating Officer at the end of last year.

Maru/Matchbox was formed in 2016, through the acquisition of Vision Critical's North American Research Consulting division. Chen (pictured) joined the group's customer experience specialist Maru/edr fifteen months ago, after serving as SVP at ORC International. He also worked for Vision Critical as MD, Satisfaction and Loyalty; and Ipsos Loyalty as SVP.

In his new role, Chen takes over from Estrin, who comments: 'Having worked with Ted before, his passion for excellence and knowledge of analytics and the industry is an ideal fit for our clients. Ted is an experienced leader who I have seen grow research practices through expanding business with existing clients and developing relationships with new client organizations. I am delighted to have him bring his leadership to our team of Financial Services experts'.
