IPG Mediabrands Australia has appointed former TNS China CEO Dr Grace Liu as Chief Executive of its digital experience agency, Reprise. She will replace Ale Vendramin, who left the business in December.Liu (pictured), whose start date is not yet firmly fixed, was most recently CEO of Isobar China, leading its development of advanced full-service digital marketing programs, and has recently focused on helping clients optimise their use of data and technology to drive campaigns.
Prior to Isobar, Dr Liu spent four years at TNS, joining in August 2012 as MD Malaysia, then moving up to Chief Executive Officer of Kantar TNS China two years later - in the latter role she led the integration of Sinotrust into TNS. Before this she was Head of the Consumer Research and Financial Services practice at Nielsen, which she joined in 2009 after three years as Director of Research, Asia at financial services consultancy The Asian Banker. She holds a Doctorate of Philosophy (Economics) from Imperial College, London.
