In New York, custom research firm Marketing Evolution has raised $20.6m in a Series B round of financing, which it will use for continued product innovation, further expansion of its marketing and sales departments, and to support its global customer base.Marketing Evolution's SaaS platform is used for measurement and optimization of the full marketing mix. The firm uses a 'Person-Centric Business Decisioning' approach, combining measurement, insights, optimization and execution, and using person-level data and analytics. According to the company, this helps marketers connect with customers, tap into customer relationships and use insights to make the overall business more effective.
New funding has been led by Insight Venture Partners, with continued participation from existing investor, Zetta Venture Partners, and brings the total invested to date to $24.6m. Rex Briggs (pictured), founder and CEO of Marketing Evolution, comments: 'Marketers are hungry for a better solution to planning, investing resources, and optimizing marketing.
