In the US, data collection and research services businesses Information Alliance and Ironwood Insights have merged. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
North Logan, Utah-based Information Alliance (IA) has been providing telephone and web data collection services for more than fifteen years and is led by President Steve Larson. Ironwood Insights was founded a year ago in Arizona by Steve's long-time friend Brad Larson (no relation), and offers a wide range of qual and quant research solutions, from questionnaire design through focus groups (traditional and online), telephone and web interviewing, to DP, tabs and reporting.
Following the merger, the new organization will operate as Ironwood Insights Group, under Brad Larson's (pictured) leadership. As part of the deal, Ironwood Insights will provide telephone data collection from its call center in Richfield, UT, whose management and operation staff will comprise staff from both companies. Steve Larson says the deal will give IA an opportunity to expand its services and provide better quality data collection to existing clients.
