In the US, consulting firm Berkeley Research Group (BRG) has acquired growth advisory specialist Phronesis Group, whose team will now conduct business as Phronesis BRG. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.Phronesis BRG offers a solution to inform, execute and measure global growth strategies, backed up by business analytics formula and methodology. CEO and former Nielsen MD Jeffrey Hupe (pictured) now serves as Managing Director and Global Head of the new organization; alongside former Dentsu exec Vincent Legg, who has been appointed as Phronesis BRG's Managing Director and COO; and Chapin Mower, the founder of entertainment company Mowalla, who is now MD and Chief Client Service Officer of the business.
Hupe says of the deal: 'We created Phronesis many years ago to answer and deliver against a market services gap... Clients were asking how today's massive amount of data can be captured to enable global growth for their businesses and drive economic guidance for developing countries.
