comScore's Lipsman Named eMarketer Principal Analyst

Andrew Lipsman, former comScore SVP of Marketing Insights, has joined digital marketing insights and trends resource eMarketer as Principal Analyst, based in Chicago.

Andrew LipsmaneMarketer provides trends analysis in areas such as digital consumer behavior and mobile shopping, including a benchmark of consumer behaviour with industry-standard estimates and forecasts. The firm's figures can be used as input values for valuation models, market sizing and project fact packs. Lipsman (pictured) joins after twelve years at comScore, where he oversaw the company's marketing communications, insights and thought leadership initiatives. He began his career at The NPD Group as an Account Associate, working with clients such as Kraft Foods and Johnson & Johnson.

In his new role covering retail and eCommerce, Lipsman will draw on his research experience across social media, eCommerce, mobile, digital advertising and cross-platform marketing, while also focusing on areas such as mCommerce, omnichannel, voice and direct-to-consumer. The firm's co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer Geoff Ramsey comments: 'Having personally known and interacted with Andrew for well over a decade, I am thrilled to have someone with his stature, knowledge base and digital expertise join our growing team'.
