In Shanghai, data-driven performance agency Merkle has promoted Ted Stites to the role of Executive Vice President, Customer Experience and Marketing Technology Solutions for the Asia Pacific region.Dentsu Aegis-owned Merkle has offices in four Asia Pacific markets: Australia, China, Singapore and India. Stites (pictured) joined the firm in 2015 and has nearly twenty years of marketing analytics, optimization and automation experience. Most recently, he served as EVP of Customer Experience in the Americas, before which he was SVP, Digital Channel Optimization, leading the experience and marketing platforms solution and delivery teams. Prior to joining Merkle, Stites created the strategy and insights practice for digital experience agency Siteworx and served as President of digital analytics and optimization firm Numeric Analytics.
In his new role, he will be responsible for the creation, execution, and overall performance of Merkle's experience and marketing platform business. Zhengda 'Z' Shen, President, Merkle Asia Pacific, says Stites 'has been instrumental in rapidly growing Merkle's experience and marketing platform business both in the United States and EMEA over the past three years', helping it to emerge as a leading US provider.
