UK-based data and analytics firm YouGov has opened offices in Spain, headed by Pau Pinós, and Italy where it is led by Nicola Ferrajolo.YouGov has 31 offices in 21 countries covering the USA, UK, France, Germany, the Nordics, the Middle East and Asia. Both new offices will offer clients the company's fast-turnaround YouGov Omnibus and BrandIndex brand perception service, while the Profiles audience segmentation and planning tool will be rolled out in both countries by the end of the third quarter.
Pinós joins in Spain with more than fifteen years' experience in consumer research, having previously worked at Nielsen BASES and Millward Brown; while Ferrajolo has worked in market research for over a decade and joins from Nielsen. Both report into Julien Chevignon, Southern Europe CEO, who comments: 'Entering Spain and Italy is a very exciting step for YouGov. As we develop operations in both countries we will collect and connect even richer, more detailed data, making our services even more useful to our partners and clients. Across the coming months in both countries we will build out the 'YouGov Cube', our proprietary, multi-dimensional database that allows media owners, brands and agencies to analyse hundreds of thousands of data points about consumers' attitudes and behaviour'.
