Media network and marketing services company Fullscreen has acquired influencer marketing platform Reelio, which uses data-driven technology to reach millennial and Gen Z audiences. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.Reelio's proprietary algorithms and artificial intelligence solutions have been designed to connect brands with the right content partners and reach target audiences. Its platform is used for forecasting, workflow automation, optimization and reporting, providing insights to drive 'predictable, measurable, and repeatable' influencer marketing campaigns.
Reelio's platform will now be integrated into Fullscreen, which says the acquisition will enable it to expand its own influencer marketing capabilities. These include its recently launched TBH (To Be Honest) proprietary panel of 'social-first' millennials; and its Playa influencer marketing partnership with WPP's media investment arm GroupM.
Fullscreen's recently appointed General Manager Pete Stein (pictured), who is overseeing the acquisition, comments: 'The strength of Reelio's data, technology, and team will be a huge asset to our company. We believe the future of marketing will be defined by the integration of data science and platform automation with world-class service. With this acquisition, Fullscreen now has the ability to offer the best service, data, and technology to advertisers, brands, and publishers'.
