In the US, WPP's digital data collection arm Lightspeed has hired former Wunderman exec Jason Dodge for the newly created role of Senior Vice President of Data Solutions.Dodge (pictured) joins with more than twenty years' data, marketing and sales experience. Most recently, he worked for WPP-owned Wunderman Data / KBM Group as MD for Global Markets, during which time he launched Wunderman's emerging data activation and data management platform across APAC, EMEA and LATAM, while managing global digital platform and data partnerships. Before this, he spent a decade at database marketing firm Epsilon as VP and General Manager, Client Accounts, helping retail and consumer goods clients use their data across direct and digital channels from mobile to in-store and direct mail.
In his new role, Dodge will be responsible for managing partnership development and the regional commercial deployment of Lightspeed's data solutions, including audience targeting and consumer insight products. Additionally, he will work closely with the firm's Global Product Team to drive new revenue opportunities and lead the growth of data connected partnerships. He will report to Jennifer Carrea, CEO, Americas and Global Health, who comments: 'Jason has a proven track record bringing new data offerings into the market. His commercial acumen and strategic approach will quickly propel us forward in our mission to provide our clients with better profiling and richer datasets'.
