Insights agency Kadence International has promoted Febri Nugraha to the position of Managing Director in its office in Indonesia, while hiring Miriam Konz as MD in Boston.
The firm, which is owned by Japanese MR group CMG (Cross Marketing Group), also has operations in India, Singapore, and Vietnam, and recently opened new offices in China and the Philippines. Nugraha, previously Qualitative Head Director of Kadence Indonesia, takes on the MD role after six years at the company and eighteen years in Indonesia's market research industry at agencies including Firefly Millward Brown, Nielsen and Research International, and client side at Danone and United Laboratories.
Konz joins the company with 25 years' experience in quantitative MR and analysis. For the past nine years, she worked at in4mation insights, latterly as Managing Director of Client Service. Before this she held senior roles at TNS NFO and Knowledge Networks. Having worked with clients in a wide range of industries, Konz will now explore opportunities for Kadence's expansion into new sectors, while further developing its identity in the US.
Commenting on the appointments, Masaaki Nomiya, VP of Global Research said: 'Indonesia is the largest economy in South East Asia and a key emerging market on a global scale. From a research perspective, no one knows the region better than Febri. We're delighted to announce the promotion and are confident he will continue our tradition of being at the forefront of research in that region. Miriam comes to us with a wealth of experience across multiple sectors and markets in the US, and we're extremely excited she will be leading the team and expanding Kadence in to new areas'.
