Maru/edr Names Topiol CEO

In the UK, customer experience specialist Maru/edr has appointed Gary Topiol as Chief Executive Officer, starting on 21st May.

He assumes responsibilities from former MD Liz Boffey, whose next move is not known at this point.

Formed when eDigitalResearch was acquired by insight and advisory services provider MARU Group in 2016, Maru/edr offers a range of solutions including customer experience management, VOC / customer feedback, and multichannel consumer insight. Topiol (pictured) joins with a twenty-year MR and customer experience sector background. Most recently, he worked for tech-based employee engagement company Nudge Rewards as MD EMEA, prior to which he was MD International at consumer experience specialist InMoment (formed through the merger of Mindshare and Empathica). Earlier, Topiol served as COO of Mystery Shopping at GfK NOP and Technical Director of Mystery Shopping at NOP World, having begun his career at BEM.
