Surrey, UK-based agency Bonamy Finch has appointed former Creston CEO Barrie Brien as Non-Executive Chairman.
Founded in 2005 by former Research International Director Leigh Morris, Bonamy Finch combines full service research with in-depth knowledge of advanced analytics. Brien (pictured) joins after serving as Group CEO of marcoms group Creston (now known as Unlimited Group): he joined in 2004 as COO and CFO, and was promoted ten years later, following the retirement of founder Don Elgie. He then helped establish an umbrella brand called Creston Unlimited, adding the suffix to the names of all its advertising, PR, social media and digital marketing, and research and insight agencies. The group was later sold to long-term shareholder DBAY Advisors for around £75.8m. Before joining Creston, Brien was EMEA CFO at Lowe Worldwide.
Commenting on the appointment, Morris said: 'This is a really exciting time for the team at Bonamy Finch. Companies are increasingly in need of partners to develop strategies in how to use customer data and advanced analytics to realise their business objectives, so I'm delighted to have someone with Barrie's experience and track record on board, to help us manage the demands of growth, whilst not losing focus on our clients, talent and service offering'.
