Finch Brands Hires Research Community Leader

May 15 2018

US consultancy Finch Brands has hired former C Space exec Tim DeGennaro for the newly created role of Associate Vice President, Insights Communities and Research Excellence, in charge of its FinchSight Research Community.

Tim DeGennaroBased in Philadelphia, Finch Brands provides insights, strategy and design for both B2B and B2C clients. Underpinning the firm's brand development and management offer are a range of MR services including quant surveys, in-home research, focus groups, store visits and mystery shopping, along with ethnography and custom methodologies.

DeGennaro (pictured) joins the company's Research Excellence group to lead its FinchSight Research Community. He previously worked at online community specialist C Space, where as AD he led insights communities for several well-known brands. Before this, he worked for Forrester Research, leading qual and quant research programs, latterly as an Analyst in the firm's Business Technology group.

Commenting on the appointment, John Ferreira, SVP Insights and Innovation, said: 'We designed FinchSight Insights Communities to specifically address what we've heard are areas of weakness among the larger community solutions in the market. Clients want bigger sample sizes, more skilled researchers armed with more progressive research techniques, and partners that are capable of deeply understanding their business. Tim is a true innovator and is perfectly suited to help us elevate these points of difference as we give brands a super-charged, custom-tailored alternative to what they're used to from the biggest players in this space'.
