Ipsos has promoted Luc Durand to the role of Managing Director in Morocco and Algeria, overseeing operations and growth in both countries. He replaces Nabil Abou Zaid, who has left to 'pursue other endeavours'.
Based in Casablanca, Durand (pictured) has more than 25 years' professional experience. He joined Ipsos in Montreal, Canada in 2011 as President, and previously spent three years in marketing and research roles at marcoms agency Bleublancrouge, and nine as a VP at Canadian research company CROP. Prior to this, he was Marketing Director at holiday resort operator Intrawest.
In his new role, he reports to Edouard Monin, CEO of Ipsos in MENA.
