In London, research technology firm Cobalt Sky has promoted Rebecca Cole to the position of Managing Director, following the departure of Mike Wooderson earlier in the year.
Putney-based Cobalt Sky has provided software and analytics to the research industry since 1989. The company handles all IT related aspects of a survey - including setting up an online questionnaire, sourcing the sample, producing tables and charts, and hosting the results in its interactive portal.
Cole (pictured) joined as a graduate in 2006 and after training in Dimensions and Data Processing, became Manager of the Web Department in 2011. She also serves on the committee of the Association for Survey Computing. Her former position will be taken by Alastair Sweeney, who was previously Deputy Manager of the Web Department.
In her new role, replacing Wooderson, Cole will take on the day-to-day running of the company, while also overseeing operations. Raz Khan, Chairman and founder, comments: 'Rebecca has been managing our Web Survey Department very successfully for seven years. I am confident that her leadership will ensure we continue our mission to provide great customer service coupled with technically excellent solutions, while evolving to meet future challenges'.
