Truata, an analytics and anonymisation company formed by Mastercard and IBM, is to locate its headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, and hire up to 75 staff there this year.The firm, launched as a trust by the two blue chips three months ago, will recruit data analysts, data scientists and engineers, according to the www.irishtimes.com . CEO Felix Marx (pictured) said the city had been chosen as 'an engine of growth and a hotbed of technology talent'.
Co-founder Mastercard will also be a major client of the new firm, which will help companies in the automotive, airline, insurance and banking sectors to innovate and make full use of their data whilst complying with GDPR.
