Jared Schrieber, CEO and co-founder of retail purchase and attitude data firm InfoScout is moving into a broader group role at parent company Market Track, joining the Board of Directors and working to integrate the two firms' data assets.At the same time, Market Track Chief Growth Officer Alexander Rink will add responsibilities as General Manager for InfoScout - Rink is the founder of retail price and product intelligence provider 360pi, and joined Market Track when this firm was acquired in 2017.
Schrieber (pictured, above) co-founded InfoScout with CTO Jon Brelig, aiming to provide cross-media insights for clients hoping to capitalize on shifts in consumer shopping behavior and attitudes. The company uses its shopper panel to monitor consumer purchase activity across online and brick-and-mortar channels, across every consumer category, and offers purchase-triggered surveys to help clients understand shopping behavior and motivation. Last summer, it was acquired by pricing intelligence specialist Market Track for an undisclosed amount of cash and stock; and shortly afterwards it rolled out its services in the UK
As part of the Market Track Board, Schrieber will look to bring together the data assets of both companies 'in order to close the loop from advertising, pricing, and promotions to changes in consumer purchase behavior'. He will also provide thought leadership on brand growth drivers, based on data-driven best practices and case studies from the two firms' 2,000+ clients.
