Data science company Alteryx has added mapping data from Tom Tom, the Dutch traffic, navigation and mapping products developer, to its self-service analytics platform.Alteryx users can now analyze their customer data by retail locations and other factors; compare competitor locations to their own; and perform drive time analysis for desired demographic segments before determining the location of retail stores. In addition, for select countries, TomTom's Maps APIs will be available in the Alteryx analytics platform, providing geocoding and reverse geocoding capabilities.
Dean Stoecker, CEO of Alteryx, comments: 'Our long-standing collaboration with TomTom is demonstrative of our commitment to empowering customers with the data they need to solve analytic challenges directly within our platform. Our customers trust and leverage TomTom's mapping data as a critical piece of the spatial analysis puzzle, providing geographic context'.
