Retail data specialist The NPD Group has launched its Retail Tracking Service for the toy market in Brazil, covering both online and brick-and-mortar sales.The Retail Tracking Service - which will include two years of trend data from January 2016 - is available to subscribing clients on a monthly and weekly basis, providing more frequent access to emerging trends. Brazilian data will be aligned with NPD's point-of-sale data for the twelve other countries in which the firm tracks the toy industry. Currently capturing 70% of Brazil's toy retail market, the service delivers coverage of product purchasing down to the item/model level in eleven categories and more than 90 toy subclasses.
