EphMRA, the global association for pharmaceutical and healthcare researchers and insights professionals, has joined The Global Research Business Network (GRBN) as the latter's first Associate Member.Launched in 2012, GRBN aims to promote adherence to worldwide ethical research practices, supporting national associations as they continue to work for their members on issues that have global impact - including data privacy, regulatory compliance and process quality. Until early this year, only regional federations and their national association members have been eligible for GRBN membership, but the GRBN Board has now changed the statutes to create an Associate Member class.
Karsten Trautmann, EphMRA President, says being part of GRBN will enable EphMRA to form strategic connections with other associations and thus enhance its offering to its members. Elissa Molloy, GRBN Chair, adds: 'On behalf of the 45 GRBN research associations across the globe, I am very pleased to welcome EphMRA into the GRBN network as our first associate member. Our new associate membership category will allow members the opportunity to network, share and learn from an even larger international community of research businesses and professionals dedicated to the best interests of our sector'.
EphMRA's decision to join was announced in brief on DRNO last week.
