In the US, data collection firm Focus Pointe Global (FPG) has launched a proprietary survey app called Point of View, which it says enhances the research experience by providing a 'more fluid' method of engagement for panel members.FPG conducted research among its panel members to gather input on how they prefer to participate, and respondents said they would prefer a mobile-friendly method that would speed delivery of studies as they become available. The new FPG POV (Focus Pointe Global Point of View) app has therefore been designed to allow members to receive push notifications for new available studies, receive initial confirmation and reminder notifications for upcoming scheduled studies, send panel membership referrals, take polls and receive immediate feedback on how other panelists answered.
CEO Laura Livers (pictured) says the new app 'provides respondents with the option for a truly holistic marketing research experience, encouraging engagement'. She adds: 'It is a continuation of FPG's goal to introduce innovative processes that meet the need for quicker insights while preserving our fundamental commitment to provide authentic panel and deliverables our clients can trust'.
