Big Data Platform Xurmo Rolls Out in UK

July 18 2018

India-based big data specialist Xurmo Technologies has rolled out its artificial intelligence-based 'plug & play' platform in the UK.

Mark RogersFounded in 2009 and based in Bangalore, the firm offers big data analysis software which can be deployed in fifteen minutes and requires no coding or knowledge of underlying technologies. Any data can be ingested using point and shoot connectors and automatically brought to analysis; and advanced analytical models can be built from one single interface. Using AI self-learning technology, the platform eliminates the need for coders. Live data from different structures and formats are integrated through the platform in a couple of days, rather than weeks or months; and predictive applications and standard business interface dashboards can be attached, allowing detailed analysis and continuity for end user reporting.

CEO Senthil Kumaran comments: 'Many research agencies have data from disparate sources including CSVs, Excel, pdf, jpg, audio and video files that previously proved difficult to assimilate. The Xurmo platform allows current and legacy sources to be integrated in an automated and scheduled manner. This allows end users to undertake data transformation and analysis, using simple drag and drop facility, eliminating the need for expert coders or SQL knowledge'.

In the UK, the roll out is being led by Mark Rogers (pictured), who began his career at Nielsen, before joining BM in Store Marketing (BMI) as Business Development Manager and Retail Marketing Services as Business Marketing Manager. Since then, he has held senior business development roles at STI Packaging & Display and planned and launched the London office of global German online research company Dialego. He is also the founder of business development services consultancy Building Marketing Business, working with clients involved with shopper research, online qual and sensory research.
