Data-driven performance marketing agency Merkle has moved its New York City headquarters into a new 33,000 square foot office at 32 Avenue of the Americas, occupying the entire 18th floor of the building, which is already home to a number of other agencies in the Dentsu Aegis Network.Acquired by Dentsu Aegis two years ago, Merkle services include analytics, marketing technology, digital agency services and consulting; and its 50 offices in eleven countries house more than 5,500 employees.
Relocation to the Tribeca-based Art Deco skyscraper will bring together Merkle's two previous Big Apple offices, increasing capacity by 33% and accommodating a 22% increase in New York-based staff since December 2017. Currently at 225, NYC headcount is expected to exceed 300 by next year. Evan Goldstein, VP of Quantitative Strategy, who has been designated as the New York Office Lead, comments: 'Rather than continuing to build out these two offices separately, we believe that having all of our New York-based employees in one location will greatly benefit our broader US and global operations as we work together toward a strong second half of 2018'.
